New Orleans - Visit French Market
A trading site since pre-Columbian days, the French Market contains both the Farmer’s Market and the Flea Market, where you can buy souvenirs and presents for home
Visit Voodoo Museum
The Voodoo Museum explores the history of these ancient African religious traditions.
Visit Audubon Zoo
One of the more popular exhibits in this great zoo, one of the best in the country, is the Louisiana Swamp which displays flora and fauna of the area in a Cajun cultural setting.
Riverboat cruise aboard the John James Audubon
During the seven-mile cruise, the captain narrates what we are seeing along the rivershore. The Port of New Orleans is one of the busiest in the world.
Visit Aquarium of the Americas
One of the top five in the country, the New Orleans Aquarium features more than one million gallons of fresh and saltwater exhibits of 530 species in a variety of wondrous habitats.

Excursion to Bayou Country Plantations
Visit Barataria Preserve
Originally settled by Canary Islanders in 1779, the Barataria Preserve offers a good introduction to the wetlands environment—just watch out for alligators!
Visit River Road African Museum & Gallery
Visit Lafitte Village
An end-of-the-road fishing village in the middle of the Mississippi Delta, Lafitte, with its frequent flooding, is a good place to get a look at a bayou settlement.
